Kathmandu is the first place whenever you land foot in Nepal. As the capital city of Nepal, Kathmandu valley offers you lots of interesting sight scene which fills your heart with joy. We first start our journey in Kathmandu with a day tour. So why Kathmandu is so famous and the best place to travel?
Kathmandu is perfect for a sightseeing tour as you can find majestic historical places that are perfect for spending time during your visit to Nepal. The spiritual temples carved with wooden frame looks amazing, which you have never seen anywhere around the world. You can find the native lifestyle of typical Newari people who have been settled down in the valley through the ages. The endless ceremonial and events in the street of Kathmandu will make your visit even more exciting. All the streets and places are covered with beautiful structure and kind people, which gives you a glimpse of true Nepali people.
A day tour in Kathmandu covers a UNESCO world heritage site such as Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swyambhunath Stupa, Boudhanath Stupa, and Pashupatinath Temple. So we make your day tour in Kathmandu a worth it tour in Nepal.
Then we move to our next destination Pokhara another second largest valley of Nepal. When you land a foot in Pokhara, then you will get a different vibe than Kathmandu. The valley is covered with the beautiful natural scenery which feels you like you landed on heaven. Pokhara is the perfect place and dream city for trekkers because it is also a gateway to the Annapurna region, where many trekkers can fulfill their destiny or dream. A beautiful city with warm and engaging Nepali people with their unique, diverse culture dominates the skyline.
We explore David’s Fall, Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, International Mountain Museum, a perfect Sunset/sunrise in world Peace Pagoda, Sarangkot, and Kahun Danda. Not only that, but we also take a small boat and do boating around the Phewa Lake in Pokhara. Trust me; your day tour will never get boring when you are in Pokhara. If you want to spend quality time with yourself alone, then we recommend you take a bicycle with you then explore a beautiful city area.
After a couple of days in Pokhara, then our journey takes us to the Himalayan side of Nepal. Slowly slowly, we start our journey on a jeep in the mustang region to explore the Jomsom/Muktinath area.
Jomsom is located in the Mustang District, which is one of the most popular tours in Nepal. The beautiful Jomsom with diverse landscapes is also a starting route for trekking. Your journey starts on a jeep passes through the deepest canyon in the world, which is carved by the most fabulous Kali Gandaki River.
You will get a chance to see the marvelous lifestyle of typical Gurung and Magar Nepali people with their diverse ethnic groups and culture. The breathtaking waterfalls, lust red rhododendron forest, and amazing mountain peak will increase your excitement level on the way to Muktinath.
You can even try the local Apple wine, which is made straight out from the Apple Orchards, which tastes so much better when you feel a little bit of tiredness.
A little bit far from the Jomsom, you will visit Muktinath, which is a famous place for Buddhists and Hindus. Muktinath is the most famous pilgrimage place where a large number of pilgrims come to bathe in the water for reclamation after death. The statue of the god is made of gold, which also outlines metal statues of Goddess Laxmi, Garuda, Janaki, Saraswati, and lord Vishnu. Especially in the Janai Purnima festival, lots of Hindu devotees gather in Muktinath temple and pay acclaim to Muktinath. You can also get a chance to lodging on Dharmashala (building devoted to religious) on the spiritual place Muktinath.
Apart from the Muktinath temple, you can also visit other famous temples and 108 freezing water spouts around the Muktinath. It was believed that if you take a bath to those 108 water spouts then, you will be free from sin. Besides that, the place is also perfect for meditation, which is started by great Guru Rinpoche (Padmasambhava).
The breathtaking highest mountain Annapurna I, Annapurna II, Annapurna III, Annapurna South, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhare, and Manaslu looks so much spectacular, which makes you look again and again. All the trials in the lap of the Himalayan range offer a unique feeling to the travelers.
On the last day, we again travel back through the same route on a jeep from the Muktinath with our experienced guide of Global travel Nepal.
