Bungee Jumping in Bhote Koshi, The Last Resort
Let’s start with Nepal’s highest Bungee Jumping site, The Last Resort, Bhote Koshi. It is also the first Bungee Jumping site in Nepal designed by the world’s leading bungee consultants of New Zealand.
The Last Resort is located near the Nepal-Tibet border, 19 km far away from the Tibet Border. To start with, you need to take a private or public vehicle for a 30 km drive from Kathmandu, The Capital City of Nepal, and will take roughly around 3 hours to reach The Last Resort, Bhote Koshi, due to the challenging road conditions.
Once you reach the location, you will see a long 166m-wide steel suspension bridge, from where you will make a jump. At first glance, you will definitely feel the fear due to its height. Who will not feel the fear of free fall from 160m high? You will feel 3 seconds of free fall when you jump from the bridge.
One interesting fact is that the bridge is also the longest bridge in Nepal with Swiss Design, which is privately owned. Before the bridge was constructed, the locals had to walk 5 hours just to cross the river.
The bridge was specially designed for Bungee jumping with a 4x Safety factor and has a loading capacity of 41500 KGs that is equivalent to 45.74 Tones.
Bungee Jumping provides excellent and memorable opportunity and experience where you will get thrilled, rush, and fear combined at the same time.
