Ghorepani Poonhill Trek
Ghorepani Poonhill trek is an ultimate short trek in the Himalayas which gets into the heart of the Annapurna. The poon hill at the height of 3,210m shows the relaxing panorama view of Annapurna range, Dhaulagiri ranges, Machhapuchhre Himal, Hiunchuli, Nilgiri and Mardi Himal.
Trekkers get the opportunity to see the spectacular sunrise/sunset over the stunning snow-covered mountain in the Annapurna region, which is just like finding the treasure over the mountains. A trek through colorful stone stairs villages and Rhododendron forests with the fantastic hospitality of kind Nepalese local people will melt your heart and can be a lifetime experience.
You will find or experience a comfortable rest and sleep in the teahouse located in a small village during the trek.
The best time to explore the poon hill region is from March to May and September to November when the weather is clear, and the temperature is moderate
Itineraries:
Day 01 – Arrival In Kathmandu Tribhuvan airport Transfer to at hotels.
Day 02 – Pre-meeting about whole trip and Kathmandu valley tour by car.
Day 03 – Drive to Pokhara ( 820m ) by Bus,Car early in the morning. 6-7hrs and O/N at a hotel.
Day 04 – Drive to Nayapul 1 hrs by car. Birethanti check post Trek to ulleri ( 1960m ) – 5hrs. O/N at a Guesthouse
Day 05 – Trek to Ghorepani ( 2750m ) 5hrs. O/N at a Guesthouse.
Day 06 – Poon Hill sunrise trek to Tadapani ( 2590m ) 6hrs. O/N at a Guesthouse.
Day 07 – Trek to Ghandruk ( 1940m ) 3hrs. O/N at a Guesthouse.
Day 08 – Trek to Nayapul last destination of the travel to Pokhara by car 1hrs.
